Default Odd game behavior

I'm wondering what is going on, because I seem to be having a number of unusual problems with gw. Most recently:

(1) I did the Vizunah Square quest and there was no 2nd team present - no henchies or players.
(2) My chats seem to not always reach the recipient - i.e. in the middle of a conversation with someone, suddenly it goes dead, i send several chats - no answer, and then after several tries one may go through and it is as though (by the response) none of the others did. When i ask if they received the chats, no answer. This happens repeatedly, and has nothing to do with the other person being busy. It is right smack in the middle of a conversation. I end up saying "Hello? Hello? Are you there?" and there is no answer. I will often give up, then talk to the same person later and have the same thing happen again.
(3) I have not had a single boss drop *anything* (no items or money) for at least 20 bosses.
(4) I levelled from 12 -20 without a single dye drop. (maybe this is normal, idk)

(5) Today in the middle of a LONG mission, my desktop randomly flipped 90 degrees (so the mouse movements were all reversed and everything was sideways on the monitor). This has happened before, and it was during a mission as well..
***THIS ONE (#5) HAS BEEN RESOLVED***

[Added Later]

(6) (a) There seems to be a communication issue when i am trying to move my character - a significant delay occurs after I press the arrow key before the character actually begins to move. The connection seems to be good. (b) Also, when I tab between targets - it only switches targets about 50% of the time, so I have to watch the target bar in order to know if the tab worked or not. (c) After I finish a battle, if I press the left or right arrow key, my character swings wildly around in circles so that I don't know what direction I am facing anymore. This is a real problem in areas without a distinguishing terrain, as i have ended up going in the wrong direction several times because of this.

Is this normal stuff??

I can only comment on two of them.....

(2) I get this also, but it only happens while lagging, are you lagging? Also, make *absolutely* sure you are sending the message to the right place.

(4) I would say this is rather normal. It really depends on how many things you're killing. It's a statistical chance to get a dye drop, so even if you kill tons of stuff you might not get a drop. On the other hand, you might get a lot.

(5) Never had this happen to me, but I have messed with peoples monitors at work Some graphic cards have hot keys to rotate the screen. Is it only switched in the game or is your desktop that way to?

(1) Did you finish the mission? (Always wondered if a good team could do it alone )

Well, It seems the chaos itself has taken control of your computer !
I see only one solution : beg the Emperor for mercy, and await his judgment in devotion
Or you are just really really really unlucky ! Away from me ! ^^

OK, well, unlucky doesn't flip a computer screen 90 degrees, but onto the responses that were more meaningful -

(2) I'm not lagging when it happens, my connection speed is usually under 300 ms, except sometimes in the bigger cities.

(4) Ya - I wasn't too concerned about the dye but I thought i'd throw it in there.

(5) My screen can be flipped 90 degrees with the display options, but there is no hotkey to do that. The desktop was flipped too obviously.

(1) No - I wiped on the 3rd battle, but it was a good fight - i killed at least 100 mobs before wiping.

One more thing I forgot to add about key action issues (kinda completes the picture - and has nothing to do with luck!)

MOVED ITEM #6 to ORIGINAL POST (SEE ABOVE)

I will only comment on one since I'm sort of pressed for time. I am not sure if this is what you mean but if you hold ALT+CTRL and hit the down arrow on your keyboard, it will invert your entire screen (so that you can play Guild Wars upside down). Pressing ALT+CTRL and the UP arrow changes it back to normal. Not sure if hitting the left or right arrow will turn things 90 degrees (haven't tried), but this might be the problem. If it isn't, then at least you eliminated one possibility.

You're right about that one - it's the intel graphics card - and it's obviously a hotkey combination that they have not listed on their page of hotkeys. Thanks for the tip.

Yes, if you use the right arrow w/ control+alt, you can keep it rotating 90 degrees clockwise, left arrow = ccw.
